The Toyota Shop recommends that you print out and keep a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

This site is owned and operated by The Toyota Shop (“The Toyota Shop”, “we” or “us” or “our”). If you have any questions or comments with regard to these terms and conditions please contact us by either email: Thetoyotashop@yeomans.co.uk or phone: 0845 6591110(Local Rate) (Monday–Friday, 09–00 to 17–00).

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website.
 
General terms
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non–exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.

Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, online bidding, pre–release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.

These terms and conditions only cover The Toyota Shop website. Any other websites which are linked to from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites, which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

The Toyota Shop own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.

You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on The Toyota Shop website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

We make no warranty that The Toyota Shop website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error–free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.

We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through The Toyota Shop website.

Payment details
The Toyota Shop accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and Delta. All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion.

Upon receiving your order The Toyota Shop carries out a series of authorisation checks on your payment card and address details you have provided us with to help combat fraud. Unless all of these authorisation checks are passed the goods ordered will not be dispatched and a refund will be performed by The Toyota Shop.

Availability of goods you order
If The Toyota Shop does not hold physical stock of the item you have ordered we will have to order it from our suppliers. Where this is the case the delivery time will be increased by 1 to 2 days.
  
Should a faulty item be purchased we will be happy to offer an exchange. This exchange will only take place once the faulty goods have been returned and inspected. The cost of returning the goods to us will not be covered by The Toyota Shop until we receive the goods back and are satisfied that a manufacturing defect is in existence. A credit for your out of pocket expenses will then be raised to cover the cost of returning the goods. No other item will be offered in place of the direct exchange.
 
The Toyota Shop will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Please note: we endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price can take a few hours to update.

Changes to this agreement
The Toyota Shop reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Prices are displayed along side each item that we sell and include VAT at the current rate. When items have been selected and added to the basket, a full break down of the totals is available on the checkout screen. This will show the cost of the item(s), the VAT content and the delivery costs.
 
We are a Toyota Main Dealer, and as such operate under Toyota Dealer Standards enforced by Toyota UK.
 
In selling goods online a contract is formed between The Toyota Shop (Yeomans Ltd) (us) and the consumer (you).
 
The steps that make up this contract are as follows;
 
Goods are displayed for sale on our website or by you calling our offices and requesting goods that are not displayed on our website.
 
You offer to buy the goods from us. On our website this is by adding a product or products to your shopping basket, proceeding to the billing and delivery screen and ensuring that the delivery details are correct, proceeding further to the confirm checkout screen where the following is clearly displayed;
 
  • Product description and part number
  • Quantity
  • Item price
  • Discounts
  • VAT
  • Sub total
  • Delivery charges
  • Grand total
Please check this information very carefully and correct it as necessary.
 
You will then proceed to the payment screen. All transactions are handled by Protx – A company who specialise in on line payments.
Protx will take payment for the goods via your selected payment method.
 
You will then be returned to The Toyotas shops website.
 
An email will be sent to confirm your order status as pending, this will shortly be followed by another email stating that your order status is new.
Contained in these email is important information relating to your purchase and your rights. Plus information on what to do should you require further assistance including a refund and cancellation of your order. We recommend that you keep these emails safe and print off a hard copy.
 
Your order will be reviewed by our staff and checked for accuracy. We will do our up most to ensure that the parts you have ordered will fit your vehicle correctly.
After this point, when we are satisfied that the order is accurate we, The Toyota Shop will accept your offer to buy the goods thus forming a legally binding contract between The Toyota Shop (us) and the consumer (you).
 
Your order status will be changed to either awaiting stock (where we are awaiting your goods to arrive from our suppliers) or dispatched where the goods are physically in stock in our warehouse and have been picked, checked and packaged. Your order will then by shipped by the most appropriate method.
 
Your order can be checked at anytime online by logging in to the account you created of by telephoning us on 0845 6591110 during office hours.
 
We will keep an electronic copy of these transactions that will be accessible for The Toyota Shop in case of a dispute.
 
Contracts can only be formed in the English language with The Toyota Shop.

A description of the good can be found along side each product, this is usually accompanied by a photo. Please note that the picture displayed may be a library picture of a similar item and not the exact item. A typical example of this would be a cooling radiator where there are over 400 Toyota radiators available and we have a library picture that is the same for all. No notice is given where this is the case.

Should you wish to cancel your order you can do so at anytime prior to the goods being dispatched by email to thetoyotashop@yeomans.co.uk . We will send a return email confirming that your order has been cancelled successfully. Should you not receive this with 24 hours then please contact us again either by email or telephone on 0845 6591110.
 
If you wish to cancel your once the goods have been dispatched you can do so up to 7 days after receipt of the goods. The receipt of goods date will be taken from either Royal Mails recorded delivery slip or our chosen couriers signed delivery slip.
 
To cancel your order you must inform us by email within these 7 days. We will respond to your email within 24 hours. If we fail to respond to your email then you must call us on 0845 6591110 to notify us of you intent to cancel the order.
 
Goods that are to be returned to The Toyota Shop must be kept with their original packaging, in good resalable condition and have never been fitted to the vehicle or used.
 
Any defects or damage must be reported to us when you are cancelling your order by email. Failure to inform us of defects or damage may result in the goods not being refunded.
 
The Toyota Shop will not under any circumstances pay for the return of cancelled orders. This responsibility and costs is to be covered by the consumer (you).
 
You must ensure that the goods are packed in a way that prevents them from being damaged and take out adequate insurance cover in case the items are damaged / lost during return. 
 
Once the goods are returned to us here at The Toyota Shop, they will be inspected and a refund given. You will be notified of this by either email of telephone.
 
Any refund given will not include carriage / delivery costs.
 
Should the good not be in a resalable condition or be damaged no refund will be given.
 
Where there is a discrepancy, photographic evidenced will be obtained by The Toyota Shop.
 
The prices advertised on our website may change and can do so without notice. They are only valid at the time of viewing on the live website.
 
Any contracts formed are only valid for that transaction. For each subsequent transaction a new contract is formed.
 
From time to time your first choice of good may not be available. Where this is the case and a close substitute is available, we may offer this as an alternative. Before doing so we will contact you by telephone or email to make you aware of this.
Any alternatives offered are solely at our discretion and may be withdrawn at any time

Delivery & Returns
 
Delivery
Delivery will only be made to the cardholders address as registered with their bank.  The Toyota Shop only deliver to the United Kingdom (the Channel Islands and, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands will incur additional charges). All deliveries must be signed for. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order. We calculate the weight of the goods ordered, and as such the delivery charge reflects this. Our goods are normally sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or our chosen courier where our delivery pricing structure is taken from.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Delivery is two working days subject to availability. However, delivery may take up to 30 days.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.

The Toyota Shop will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and The Toyota Shop shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Deliveries will be attempted at your chosen address. If unsuccessful a card will be left for you to collect the goods from your local sorting office / depot. If you cannot collect your goods within 5 days then they will be returned to The Toyota Shop.
Upon receipt of your undelivered goods we will attempt to contact you by telephone and email to arrange another delivery that will be chargeable to you, the consumer.

Postage Charges
You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.

Force Majeure
The Toyota Shop shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
 
Returns and Cancellations
